Cathy Potter is K-5 school librarian at Falmouth Elementary School in Maine where she enjoys finding innovative ways to use iPads with her students. Cathy has served as a CYBILS panelist for several years and now chairs the the Book Apps category. If you walk into Cathy’s library you’re likely to find her recommending her favorite books to young readers, teaching information literacy classes, leading book club discussions or showing students and teachers the latest app she’s discovered. In her spare time, Cathy co-authors The Nonfiction Detectives blog with her friend Louise, reviews apps for School Library Journal, and is the chair of the AASL’s Best Apps for Teaching and Learning Committee.
