Kidlitcon 2014- Blogging Diversity in Young Adult and Children’s Lit: What’s Next? (Oct 10th and 11th, Sacramento, CA) is not only going to be a great conference, it’s also going to be a great place to meet lots of folks involved with the Cybils!
For starters, all three of the wonderful co-chairs of Kidlitcon—Sarah Stevenson and Tanita Davis and Jen Robinson, are judges this year, as are Maureen Kearney, Registration Coordinator, and Reshama Deshmukh , one of Kidlitcon’s Author Coordinators. And the other Author Coordinator Melissa Fox, is the Cybils very own blog editor this year. Our Cybils’ tzar, Anne Levy, as well as category chairs Sheila Ruth (Young Adult Speculative Fiction) and Karen Yingling (Middle Grade Fiction) will also be there.
But on top of that, the Cybils is well represented on the Kidlitcon program! Here are the Cybils judges who’ll be speaking at Kidlitcon, and the panels they’ll be part of:
