We are about halfway through the nominating period, and the judges and organizers have come up with lists of great books that we’d really love to see nominated. If you haven’t put your two cents in on the nominating form, please consider using one of these suggestions.
- From Stacked Books, a list of YA Speculative Fiction
- A list of fiction picture books at Tales of an Elementary School Librarian
- At Views From the Tesseract, a list of Elementary/Middle Grade Speculative Fiction
- Ms. Yingling has both Middle Grade Fiction and Elementary/Middle Grade Speculative Fiction suggestions
- There’s a TON of good suggestions (in multiple categories) at both Jean Little Library and Story Time Secrets
- Semicolon has a number of Young Adult Nonfiction suggestions
- Charlotte’s Library, ever the haven for Elementary/Middle Grade Speculative fiction has suggestions about diverse titles, recent publications and older titles.
- And if you haven’t gotten an Elementary/Middle Grade Speculative Fiction idea yet, try either my tweet (I was too lazy/busy to write a post) or this post at Log Cabin Library.
- At Random Musings of a Bibliophile, there are some great Middle Grade Fiction suggestions
- YA Fiction gets some representation with suggestions at Bookshelves of Doom
- And, finally, we ran across this google docs list of books, posted by Maureen Eichner (we think).
