In this space you would normally be told a witty story about how young adult literature came to be important to Jackie and why she volunteers a significant portion of her life to the Cybils every year since its inception. But this year, Jackie is the mother of a three-month-old, her first, and really doesn't have time for clever bios. She will, however, make time to crack the whip at her unwitting panelists.
