No doubt you're already familiar with her through one of her reading or commenting challenges, or one of her hilarious recurring blog features like Bloggers Against Celebrity Authors (BACA). But what makes MotherReader a Mother Reader? Well, that would be TeenReader.
We're happy to report that our inaugural review of the 2010 Cybils year is a TeenReader review of Middle Grade nominee Smells Like Dog, a novel by Suzanne Selfors. TeenReader describes this story of adventure and treasure hunting as follows:
I thought this book was a good balance of an easy, basic plot to follow with a perfect amount of twists and turns to keep you guessing. Just as things were getting clear, the rug was pulled out and we were left in the dark again.
